(NSFW) "Musings" - a set with S.
As I've mentioned on previous posts, it’s always refreshing to go back to this series and to dive into Women’s intimacy world. Getting to know their vulnerabilities and insecurities and at the same time to provide them this chance to defy their self esteem, is a unique experience.
The last person I had the chance to do that with, was Sofia. We had been following each other on Instagram for quite a while and despite still being total strangers to each other, we got along pretty easily, mostly because Sofia understood quite well the purpose of this series, which isn't just about naked bodies.
We ended up talking more than we shot, sharing our experiences and influences, coming to the conclusion that we shared several musical references, which kind of helped the shooting to flow at the sound of Daughter.
The mood was so nice and soothing that even her cats decided to join us :)

Como já tinha mencionado anteriormente, é sempre bom voltar a esta série e mergulhar no mundo da intimidade das Mulheres. Conhecer as suas vulnerabilidades e inseguranças e proporcionar-lhes esta possibilidade de desafiarem a sua auto estima, é uma experiência única.
A última pessoa com quem tive a oportunidade de fazer isso, foi com a Sofia. Já seguíamos a conta um do outro no Instagram há algum tempo e apesar de sermos meros estranhos, entendemo-nos bastante bem, principalmente porque a Sofia percebeu desde logo o propósito desta série, que vai muito além de meros corpos nus.
Acabámos por conversar mais do que fotografámos, partilhando experiências e influências. Curiosidade ou não, o facto de ambos adorarmos uma banda pouco conhecida por cá - Daughter - que nos acompanhou durante a sessão toda, também ajudou ao flow da coisa.
O ambiente estava tão agradável que até os gatos dela decidiram juntar-se :)
