(NSFW) "Musings" goes outdoors
One of my goals with the “Musings” series, is to take this experience to as many women as possible. Therefore, repeating the women I shoot, isn’t exactly a priority, unless there’s something else or something different to be explored.
And that’s how Miss R. came back to a third shooting. I always felt it made total sense to put together several aspects of Beauty: "man made” (or woman made in this case) and “nature made”. This is a match I’ve been wanting to do for quite a while and I’m already looking forward to get back at it.
Finding outdoor spaces with some privacy isn’t exactly an easy task, but with some patience and if you are willing to walk for a good while, they can be found.
The day we shot this, wasn’t a "beach day" at all, nevertheless, we found some people at the beach, but as mentioned, having time and patience, we just enjoyed the view and waited to have the spots we wanted just for us. And that was the best we could do. R. was in her natural environment and at this point, I think it was pretty indifferent to her if she had her bikini on, or if she was dressed as she came into this world. And honestly, how much Beauty can you get in an image, when you have a beautiful woman walking around Nature’s work?

Um dos objectivos desta série “Musings”, é o de levar esta experiência ao maior número possível de mulheres. Por isso, repetir as pessoas que já fotografei, não é exactamente uma prioridade, a menos que seja para fazer ou explorar algo de diferente.
E foi assim que a R. voltou para uma terceira sessão. Sempre achei que fazia todo o sentido juntar diferentes elementos daquilo que considero Beleza: o “feito pelo Homem” (ou pela mulher, neste caso) e o “feito pela Natureza”. Esta era uma combinação que estava com imensa vontade de fazer e à qual tenciono voltar futuramente.
Encontrar locais em exteriores com alguma privacidade, não é algo propriamente fácil, mas com alguma paciência e se estivermos disponíveis para passear um bocado, podem-se encontrar esses sítios.
No dia em fotografámos, não estava de todo um “dia de praia”, mas ainda assim, havia algumas pessoas nesta praia. Mas, como disse, com um bocado de tempo e paciência, lá nos ficámos a entreter com a paisagem, enquanto esperávamos que os sítios que queríamos, ficassem só para nós. E foi o melhor que fizemos. Ao fim de um bocado, a R. já estava no seu “habitat natural” e nessa altura, acho que já lhe era completamente indiferente se tinha o bikini vestido ou se estava tal como veio ao mundo. E sinceramente, quanta Beleza se consegue colocar numa imagem, quando juntamos uma mulher bonita a passear pelas obras da Natureza?
