"Burn"
[ENG] “Burn” is a song by The Cure, that introduced the band to many new people after being featured in the movie “The Crow” (1994).
As for me, it’s one of my favorite songs by The Cure. So much so, that I’ve had it my notebook for several years and only now did I find a satisfying way of turning it into pictures. Curious fact about this song, is that I can “see” different things when listening to it. Which means, I will probably get back to it in the future. At this moment, I’ve photographed photos to match only the first verses of the song.
To help me create these images, I had Eva Fisahn in the studio, who once again, after explaining her what I was trying to achieve, promptly embodied the spirit of it. I think it took us less than 30 minutes to get the final result :)

[PT] “Burn” é uma música dos The Cure, que deu a conhecer a banda a muita gente, ao fazer parte da banda sonora do filme “O Corvo” (em 1994).
É uma das minhas músicas favoritas dos The Cure. De tal forma, que há anos que a tenho nas minhas notas e só agora consegui encontrar uma forma que me satisfizesse, de a transpor para fotografias. Facto curioso sobre esta música, é que consigo ver diferentes coisas quando a ouço. O que significa que, talvez volte a ela no futuro. Para já, fiz apenas imagens que ilustram os primeiros versos da canção.
Para me ajudar a criar estas imagens, contei mais uma vez com a Eva Fisahn que, depois de lhe explicar o que estava a tentar fazer, incorporou prontamente a ideia. Acho que demorámos menos de 30 minutos a conseguir o resultado final :)
