Backstage with Matilde Breyner
It’s been a while since I had been shooting on a backstage, but when I got the chance to witness Matilde Breyner’s transformation into Mick Jagger for the Portuguese tv show “A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha”, I couldn’t resist.
I gotta confess that, at first, I was a bit sceptic, since I hardly know the show. But I’m a huge admirer of Matilde’s acting skills and I knew she was up to something!
So, I started by checking one of the rehearsals and then, I got to be with her on the backstage, just before her performance live on tv.
You can see the results bellow and after seeing how much effort and dedication she put up into it, for a performance of only 2:30 minutes, I can only say that she’s definitely one of my favourite actresses! Respect Matilde, much respect!

THE REHEARSAL / O ENSAIO
ON THE TV SHOW BACKSTAGE / NOS BASTIDORES DO PROGRAMA
Há já algum tempo que não fotografava em backstage e quando surgiu a oportunidade para assistir em primeira mão, à transformação da Matilde Breyner em Mick Jagger, para o programa “A Tua Cara Não Me É Estranha”, não consegui resistir.
Confesso, que a minha reacção inicial foi de algum cepticismo, porque mal conhecia o programa. Mas como admiro imenso a Matilde enquanto actriz, sabia que ela devia estar a preparar algo digno de ser visto!
Comecei por ir ver um dos ensaios e depois, estive com ela nos bastidores, nos momentos que antecederam a actuação dela em directo no programa.
Podem ver os resultados em cima daquilo que testemunhei… e depois de ver o esforço e a dedicação dela, para uma performance que ía durar apenas 2:30 minutos, fiquei ainda mais fã dela. Respect!
