On the previous blog post about test shoots, I wrote about their importance, but I’ve been asked why didn’t I talk about how to choose models. I didn’t write about it on purpose, because I think that's a very subjective/personal decision/choice.
Ewa is another good example of my admiration and respect for models who put themselves out there in the world. Not being able to travel as often as I wished, it’s always nice to at least meet people who are doing it and have stories to tell.
I have been using this blog sometimes to share stories of models and sometimes to share my experience shooting them, but always, with the intent of passing some useful info to you.

Rosa has been enjoying one of the best perks of being a model: travelling! After a season in Bali, she’s now back in Europe, having stopped in Portugal for a couple weeks.
...when you notice that after 3 hours of shooting, you could still go on, that means you are not only getting along with the model, but that you are working with someone who also loves what she’s doing.
Even without knowing Caroline, I could easily imagine we were going to spend a good time together and end up with good photos...
Test shoots, usually, don’t require planning, though one is expected to end up with some specific results… the portraits, the full body, the American plan/shot… everything that has potencial to go into the model's portfolio or composite.
